SALE REPORT ::

Mar Mac Farms and Guests hosted the 11th Annual Bull Sale at the farm south of Brandon, Manitoba on a beautiful spring day. Over 300 livestock enthusiasts enjoyed a hot roast beef lunch and supported the South Brandon - Roseland 4-H by purchasing a piece of homemade pie.   

Mar Mac Farms and Guests presented Jerry Kanewsicher with a gift for his service and expertise over the past years.

Mar Mac Farms, Brandon along with Downhill Simmentals, Rapid City and Perkin Land and Cattle, Elgin were the hosts for the day presenting a very stout, uniform set of Red Angus, Black Angus and Simmental Bulls.

Auctioneer - Chris Poley along with Nathan Marin, Shane Michelson and Helge By conducted the auction. 

78 Bulls grossed $490,250 to average $6,285.

Black Angus Bulls averaged $7,241.

Lot 32:  Mar Mac Cedar Ridge 29B, son of Cole Creek Cedar Ridge sold for $14,000 to Midnight Oil Land and Livestock, Redvers, SK.
Lot 30:  Mar Mac Reserve 58B, son of SAV Resource sold for $8,500 to Joe Bouchard, Fisher Branch.

Red Angus Bulls averaged $6,683.
